Frequently asked questions about Co-Sponsorships

Q: What is it?

A: If you are a new affiliate, SFI assigns you as the co-sponsor on a number of newly-joined SFI affiliates.

Q: What are the financial benefits of being assigned the co-sponsor of someone?

A: As an affiliate's co-sponsor, you can immediately begin earning up to 24% CV commissions on all their purchases (plus an additional 4% to 8% on all their sales)! This benefit can also continue monthly! For specific details, see the SFI Compensation Plan.

Q: What do I have to do to secure the co-sponsorship affiliates I've been assigned?

A: To secure all the co-sponsorships that are being assigned to you, you must achieve 1,500 VersaPoints within your first 15 days in SFI. For a complete listing of actions you can do to earn these points, see your To-Do List on your SFI Homepage.

Q: Why does SFI do this?

A: We want to help you get off to a great start! By assigning you these affiliates, you have a nucleus for your new business that you can immediately begin profiting from, and a foundation that you can build upon.

Q: Do I have to buy anything?

A: No. There is NEVER a requirement to purchase anything from SFI. However, earning VersaPoints that you need is super quick and easy at your TripleClicks store. Just buy products from your TripleClicks store that you already buy elsewhere and you can earn unlimited points to qualify for the maximum payouts and perks in SFI. Note: a maximum of 2,000 points from sales and purchases may be applied towards TL qualification.

Q: Does it matter WHEN I achieve the 1,500 points? Will more or less co-sponsorships be assigned to me depending on when I hit 1,500 points?

A: You, of course, have to beat the 15 day deadline to secure ANY co-sponsorships. But other than that, when you achieve the 1,500 points has no bearing on how many co-sponsorships you will receive. Just make sure you beat the 15-day deadline! :-)

Q: Where do these affiliates that you assign come from?

A: Literally from all over the world! SFI is one of the fastest growing companies of its kind in the world. Visit our Global Growth Report to see our latest enrollments. The affiliates you will be assigned as the co-sponsor of will come from this global list.

Q: When will I know which affiliates I've been assigned?

A: Once you have secured your assigned co-sponsorship affiliates by achieving a minimum of 1,500 VersaPoints (within your first 15 days), they will immediately appear on your Genealogy. Your Genealogy also contains contact information so that you may begin communicating with them.

Q: Should I contact the co-sponsorships I've received?

A: One of the reasons we created the co-sponsorship program is so that every affiliate has another support member to assist them. So, yes, we encourage you to reach out to the co-sponsorship affiliates you've been assigned, especially if their sponsor is not actively supporting them. Your Genealogy contains contact information so you can communicate with them.

Q: Shouldn't the sponsor be doing this?

A: Yes, they SHOULD. But, unfortunately, many sponsors do not do what they're supposed to do.

Q: Where can I find their e-mail addresses so I can e-mail my co-sponsors?

A: You'll find these on your Genealogy in the COMMUNICATION format screen. Or, just mouse-over the envelope icon on any format screen.

Q: Is there a way to select JUST my co-sponsored affiliates from the Genealogy and send them a group message?

A: Yes. You can get a list of your co-sponsored affiliates by selecting "Generation" as your Genealogy filter, then "CS" as the filter option.

Q: What should I say in my e-mail to them?

A: Here's some suggested text. Use what you'd like and personalize as you wish:

Hi FirstName,

My name is ~INSERT YOUR NAME HERE~ and I've recently been appointed as your SFI co-sponsor.

What's a co-sponsor? This is a brand new position SFI created in August 2009. As your co-sponsor, I'm here to assist you and support you in building your SFI business.

By the way, co-sponsors aren't the only thing that's new at SFI. If you haven't looked at SFI lately, you definitely need to check them out again! With the changes made in August, SFI is exploding with growth. SFI is now much simpler, easier, and more profitable than ever before. I LOVE what they've done!

You can read about all the exciting August announcements at news.sfimg.com (see August 5th news and the first and second week "report cards").

You'll also want to log in at the SFI Affiliate Center (www.sfimg.com). When you get there, you'll see the new SFI Homepage, which now features a to-do list personalized just for you. This makes everything so simple because all you have to do is start completing the tasks on your to-do list. Each task earns you points and positions you for higher and higher payouts!

That's it for now. Be sure to log in at the SFI Affiliate Center as soon as you can, and if I can answer any questions or assist you in any way, just let me know.

I look forward to working with you!

Q: How many co-sponsorship affiliates will be assigned to me?

A: The number can vary from day to day. We assign co-sponsorship affiliates based on the growth and activity that is occurring companywide at the time you join SFI.

Q: For how long will you be assigning me co-sponsorship affiliates?

A: For up to your first 30 days in SFI.

Q: I've stopped receiving notifications about affiliates being assigned to me. Why?

A: There are two possible reasons:

1. If you've achieved the 1,500 points needed to secure your co-sponsorships, we no longer send you the daily notification as all of your co-sponsorships have already been added to your Genealogy.

2. If you're past the 15 day deadline for achieving 1,500 points, you no longer qualify for Co-Sponsorships.

Q: Why not include the names of the affiliates being assigned to me in the notifications?

A: Primarily for privacy reasons, we require that you achieve the 1,500 points before names are divulged. Also because we often have to pull unassigned new affiliates from previous days so as to ensure that everyone gets a co-sponsor and you get the highest number of affiliates as possible assigned to you.

Q: Can I receive more co-sponsorship affiliates beyond my first 30 days?

A: Yes! If you are among our top 300 in VersaPoints in any month, you will receive additional co-sponsorship affiliates. You can check your current position HERE.

Q: Will I permanently retain the co-sponsorship affiliates that are assigned to me?

A: So long as your co-sponsorship affiliates assigned to you remain active and you personally do a minimum of 1,500 VersaPoints each month, yes.

Q: Is a co-sponsor different than a Sponsor?

A: Yes, every SFI affiliate has a sponsor (the person who signed them up with SFI). The co-sponsor is another person and is assigned by SFI Corporate. Both the sponsor and the co-sponsor share in the financial benefits and support responsibilities.

Q: What do you mean that I must share in "support responsibilities?"

A: Both sponsors and co-sponsors have a responsibility to support their affiliates. If you are willing to earn income on the actions of your affiliates, you must of course be willing to also help them with questions they might have, share tips, etc. This is an integral part of our type of business. It's all about working together for mutual gain.

Q: When someone in my downline receives affiliates from the co-sponsor program, are these co-sponsored affiliates considered a part of my downline?

A: No. Co-sponsors are only a benefit for the affiliate they are assigned to and any financial benefits that result go to that affiliate.

Q: Some of the co-sponsorships I received haven't yet confirmed their registration. What should I do with them?

A: Many ISPs block or junk e-mails from SFI--meaning we can't get through to them. Indeed, they may have never received our welcome letter or even our e-mails with the registration confirmation link!

YOU, however, probably can get through by e-mailing to them directly! YOU can make all the difference. YOU can get them to conifrm their registration (just have them log in at the Affiliate Center, and they will be provided with the link to confirm their registration).
