Frequently asked questions about getting paid in SFI

Q: How will I get paid?

A: If Affiliates choose not to accumulate their commissions, those living in the U.S. can choose to receive their SFI earnings, via an TripleClicks MasterCard, a mailed check, a PayPal account, or direct deposit. Affiliates living outside the U.S. will have the TripleClicks MasterCard selected by default.

SFI Affiliates can get a TripleClicks MasterCard once they have accumulated $20 in commissions. They will be notified via e-mail and alerts in the SFI Affiliate Center to order a card. A TripleClicks MasterCard will come loaded with the balance of the affiliate's account, minus a one-time fee of $9.95 for U.S. Affiliates and $19.95 for those outside the U.S. for the cost of processing the card. Once that level is reached, SFI will send these affiliates their cards, pre-loaded with their account balances—in their national currency—minus the one-time processing fee.

Q: When do I get paid?

A: Commissions are paid out each month for the previous month's earnings, (i.e, January's commissions are paid out in February), and are typically processed on the 10th of each month (or the closest following business day, if the 10th falls on a weekend or holiday).

TripleClicks MasterCards will be automatically credited with your earnings within hours after commissions are processed. Mailed checks are sent out by first-class mail on the15th of each month (or the closest following business day, if the 15th falls on a weekend or holiday). If you choose to be paid by ACH direct deposit, Paypal, or TripleClicks MasterCard, your commissions will be transferred on the 15th and the amount reflected in your account within two to four business days of the funds transfer date. In the event that the 15th falls on a weekend, commissions will be sent out or transferred the following business day.

Q: How much can I earn in commissions?

Q: Do you deduct taxes on my commissions?

A: SFI does not deduct taxes out of the commissions you earn. It is your responsibility to contact a tax professional and determine whether you need to pay taxes on your earnings. Please be aware that, by law, SFI must report commission amounts exceeding $600 per year to the IRS and send you a Form 1099.

Q: Do you notify the IRS of the referral fees I earn?

A: We report all earnings to the IRS over $600. SFI will also send you a Form 1099 around tax time if you have earned over $600.

Q: What happens if I lose my check?

A: If it has been over four weeks since checks were mailed (the15th of each month, or the closest following business day, if the 15th falls on a weekend or holiday) and you still have not received your commissions, please contact our customer service department HERE.

Q: I live outside the U.S. Can I have my commissions paid in my country's currency?

A: Yes. SFI Affiliates living outside the U.S. will, by default, have the TripleClicks MasterCard option chosen for payment of commissions. Once they have accumulated $20 US in commissions, they can then order their cards, which will arrive pre-loaded with their account balances—in their national currency—minus a one-time $9.95 processing fee for U.S. Affiliates and $19.95 for those outside the U.S.

Q: My commission statement says I was paid commission, but I never received my commissions.

A: TripleClicks MasterCards are automatically credited with your earnings within hours after commissions are processed. If you choose to be paid by direct deposit into your checking account or by Paypal, your commissions will be transferred on the 15th and the amount reflected in your account within three business days of the funds transfer date. In the event that the 15th falls on a weekend, commissions will be sent out or transferred the following business day.

If you have a TripleClicks MasterCard, and it has been at least one week...OR if you have opted to receive your commissions via check or PayPal and it has been at least four weeks since checks were mailed out, please contact our customer service department at 402-434-8480 during business hours (Monday through Thursday, 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. CST) for assistance.

Q: Can I get my commission directly deposited into my account?

A: Yes. If you have a checking account from a U.S. bank, you can have your commissions direct deposited. Please go to the following site to print off and mail the direct deposit form:
